Technical Sales Specialist – Chromatography

Location: North East, France

Salary: €45,000 - €65,000 base + Company Car + €10,000 bonus

The company is a leading manufacturer of Chromatography and Spectroscopy instruments and consumables. Their technologies are integral to scientific research and industrial applications worldwide serving a variety of fields.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and expanding the existing customer base in the region.
• Use technical skills to identify client needs and address any inquiries.
• Perform diagnostics, address potential issues proactively, and ensure system reliability.

The position is home-based in the North East with regular travel to customer sites and trade shows. Most of this is daily travel, but occasionally there will be overnight stays. Working closely with the Marketing and Service Engineer teams in the territory.

Requirements

• Educated with a degree or further in Chemistry or Chemistry-related subject.
• Excellent technical knowledge of Chromatography and spectroscopy, as well as the sector.
• Sales experience is required.
• Valid drivers licence and fluent French and English are essential.
