Wavin is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for our Urban Climate Resilience (UCR) department in France.

The role

We are growing the UCR business and require a Technical Sales Manager to combine engineering knowledge with business acumen to support local business development, engage customers early in the value chain, create opportunities to sell integrated Wavin solutions, and support customers through the design phase.

Your responsibilities

  • Execution of product‑market strategy.
  • Project and product administration/management.
  • Achieve commercial objectives for the country.
  • Design and calculate on project level.
  • Localize product launches, assess commercial value and ensure market needs.
  • Opportunity management, product and specification development and supervision.
  • Assess customers’ needs to build conceptual and functional design and cross‑sell across portfolio.
  • Collect and share deep insight into value propositions of Wavin and competitors’ products and integrated solutions.
  • Guide and support the sales team to meet objectives.
  • Act as technical point of contact for the sales team and customers, coordinating requests and resolving issues.

Your profile

  • B.Sc. relevant to one or more solution areas (hydraulic engineering, civil engineering, software engineering, urban planning, landscape architecture or similar).
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experienced technical professional from engineering consultants, architecture firms, or end-client engineering teams, with strong background in design, evaluation and construction of stormwater management/Urban Climate Resilience systems.
  • Commercial mindset, experience from conceptual designs to integrated solution selling, inspiring client pain points into demand, and proven track record of winning projects and understanding full project scopes.
  • Proficiency in CRM and project management.
  • Knowledge of the Italian market opportunities and challenges.
  • Team player, motivator, excellent communicator with entrepreneurial drive.
  • English is a plus.
