The Role
You will be responsible for managing and expanding business within a defined territory in France, working closely with customers, partners, and internal technical teams.
The role combines strategic business development with consultative account management and technical solution selling.
Responsibilities
- Develop new customer relationships and identify growth opportunities
- Managing and expanding existing accounts
- Understanding complex customer requirements and proposing appropriate solutions
- Supporting the full commercial cycle from technical discussions through to quotation and negotiation
- Building long‑term partnerships with customers
- Maintaining accurate pipeline and opportunity management through CRM tools
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience in technical sales within photonics, optics, lasers, imaging, or related technologies
- Proven ability to sell complex technical solutions into industrial or high‑tech markets
- Strong commercial mindset with a proactive approach to business development
- Comfortable engaging with both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Self‑motivated, organised, and capable of working autonomously
- Fluent French and professional English language skills
