Position Context

MTB MANUFACTURING , our engineering and recycling machinery assembly division, is recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer to strengthen its team.

Your Missions

With strong field experience, you are able to operate with a high level of autonomy across a wide geographical area and manage complex industrial B2B sales cycles from start to finish. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales of machines and technical solutions across Southern Europe (from Italy to Turkey), ensuring a strong field presence, developing a partner network, and managing sales opportunities.

Your main responsibilities include :

Business development and prospecting

  • Develop revenue within your assigned geographical area
  • Identify, qualify, and develop business opportunities
  • Prospect new end customers and local partners
  • Implement the defined sales action plan for the region

Opportunity management and customer relationship

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers and partners in the region
  • Manage sales opportunities from needs identification to deal closure
  • Ensure regular project follow-up and customer follow-ups
  • Rely on designated sales engineers for projects with high technical complexity

Network management and development

  • Manage and animate an existing network of distributors, agents, or partners
  • Identify, qualify, and support new local partners
  • Develop partners’ expertise (offers, solutions, positioning)
  • Strengthen the company’s visibility and brand awareness in local markets

Solution promotion and first-level technical support

  • Present and promote technical solutions to customers
  • Conduct initial needs analysis and feasibility assessment
  • Adapt sales messaging to local, technical, and regulatory specificities
  • Contribute to the quality of information shared with internal teams

Sales follow-up and internal coordination

  • Update and maintain CRM data (leads, opportunities, customer accounts)
  • Coordinate with sales engineering, sales back-office, and support functions
  • Provide feedback on market trends, competition, and customer needs

Your Strengths for this Role

You have proven B2B experience in an industrial environment, with a demonstrated ability to develop and manage a customer portfolio across a wide geographical area.

You are autonomous in managing your sales activities, from prospecting through to closing, and you know how to organize your fieldwork efficiently, often remotely.

You are comfortable with complex sales cycles involving technical stakeholders, decision-makers, and local partners.

Your strong field orientation and results-driven mindset allow you to thrive in technical environments requiring rigor, credibility, and adaptability.

Your professional demeanor and strong sense of company representation, combined with your ability to work cross-functionally with experienced internal teams, are key factors for success in this role.
