Requirements
- At least 3+ years of technical recruitment experience; preferably with 2+ years in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment, or equivalent agency experience (ideally agency followed by in-house)
- Proven track record of successfully hiring engineers and technical roles at scale
- Strong understanding of technical roles, skills, and market trends
- Experience with modern recruitment tools and platforms (ideally Ashby, Welcome to the Jungle, Juicebox/Ppl GPT, Github, Cord, etc)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Open to travel to our other offices to spend time on the ground with teams
- Fluent in English and French
- (Desirable) Experience recruiting for fintech companies
- (Desirable) Experience working with remote technical teams
What the job involves
- As our Technical Recruiter at Capi, you will play a critical role in scaling our Engineering and Product teams during a period of accelerated growth
- You will own full-cycle technical hiring across multiple roles and geographies, partnering closely with Engineering leadership and the Talent team to hit ambitious hiring targets and KPIs
- You'll help shape our technical hiring strategy, build relationships with candidates, and ensure a high-quality candidate and hiring-team experience throughout the recruitment process
- Design and execute technical recruitment strategies to build strong candidate pipelines
- Own full-cycle recruitment process for technical roles, from sourcing to offer stage and onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and create compelling job descriptions and candidate pitches
- Source candidates through multiple channels including direct outreach, referrals, and tech recruitment platforms
- Work with external partners as needed; you will own and manage these partnerships directly and should be well-versed in standard recruitment partner SLAs
- Screen technical candidates effectively and manage the interview process end to end
- Be our internal driver for Capi’s tech network, including tech recruitment, technical networking events, groups, and communities - you should be in the know with what is going on in the technical space
- Maintain and grow an excellent technical candidate network - ABR! - always be recruiting
- Track and analyse recruitment metrics to optimise hiring processes; propose improvement and process changes
- Help develop and improve our technical assessment processes; including retros of processes where improvements can be made
