PRESENTATION OF THE CONTEXT AND AXA GROUP SECURITY

AXA’s security community has 1,000 professionals across information security, operational resilience, and physical security & safety. The security mission is to keep AXA safe, secure and resilient.

AXA Group Security, part of AXA GO, defines the security strategy, sets standards, and delivers assurance across the Group. It also supports entities in maintaining security posture and coordinating crisis responses.

The Cyber Defense Project Management team manages and delivers security projects and programs related to Cyber Defense products, including the Security Operations Center (SOC), which delivers monitoring, incident response, and threat intelligence capabilities.

POSITION MAIN ACTIVITIES

Key responsibilities:

• Accountable for the operational delivery of security projects and programs, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget, and within‑scope delivery.
• Lead the project team, including central team members, project managers across markets, and third parties.
• Review, negotiate and maintain full accountability for project plans and schedules.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor and control project performance.
• Review progress to ensure execution aligns with defined plans.
• Ensure alignment with AXA GO project management processes and lifecycle.
• Monitor and manage the project/program budget and expenditures.
• Identify and track risks, issues and alerts; establish appropriate action plans.
• Act as liaison between Cyber Defense and technical/business communities within AXA to communicate status.
• Communicate relevant and timely information to stakeholders on progress, budget, risks and issues.
• Manage change requests (budget, planning, scope), expose decisions, propose solutions and record approvals.
• Manage procurement and contract matters with Group Procurement.
• Focus on SOC‑related projects and initiatives as a subject‑matter expert.
• Oversee the expansion and enhancement of SOC monitoring capabilities.
• Manage deployment of new security tools and technologies in the SOC.
• Assist AXA entities in security transformation and use of AXA global security products.
• Drive adoption of solutions such as SOAR, EDR, XDR, and cloud security capabilities within SOC.
• Automation focus: develop and implement automated threat detection & response, incident playbooks, orchestration, monitoring, and threat intelligence integration using AI/ML.

YOUR PROFILE

Experience

• Experience in project management and program management of security projects and initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage change and establish processes for organizational change management to achieve business outcomes.
• Expertise in customer needs analysis and technical requirement formulation.
• Extensive experience in third‑party management and quality management within security projects.

Qualifications

Education

• Engineering degree, BS/MS in Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science.

Certification

• Project management certification (PMI, PMI‑ACP, Prince2, …).
• Agile methodology (SCRUM or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Process improvement certification (Lean, Six Sigma) is an advantage.

Overall work experience in the fields

• Experience in project management – 5 years.
• Managing complex international IT projects – 5 years.
• Program management or managing multiple projects in parallel and multi‑local projects.
• Managed budget between 2‑5M €.
• Experience delivering fixed‑price projects (preferred).
• Experience in Information Security – >1 year.
• Experience in Security, Network or Infrastructure deployment – >5 years.
• Experience in delivering transversal projects touching multiple dimensions – >5 years.
• Experience managing third parties – >5 years.

Language

• Fluent in English (including technical information security English) – required.
• French is a plus.
