Technical Project Manager (F/H) - AEW

Job Description

You will join the Major Projects and Sustainable Development department integrated into AEW’s Asset Management France division. As a Technical Project Manager, your role is to advise investment teams, develop work programs, design and manage development and heavy restructuring operations, and advise asset managers on all important technical matters.

• Carry out in‑depth technical expertise on real‑estate investment files, with an emphasis on architectural and functional analysis, technical performance, environmental audits, and the assessment of associated technical and financial risks.
• Advise investment teams on all technical aspects, regulations, compliance, and the work required to bring the asset up to standard or in compliance until the conclusion of the acts.
• Develop work programs and manage development operations from the programming‑assembly‑design phase to the conclusion of contracts and project implementation.
• Design, program, commission and control the work provided in multi‑year work plans, or necessary for the restructuring and renovation of heritage assets under management, including valuation and compliance.
• Assist asset managers in monitoring the resulting work on claims and risks related to the owner’s security obligations or asset improvements when necessary.
• Lead the implementation of the objectives of the energy transition law on assets under management.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

• Higher education with at least 5 years of experience in similar positions and a building engineering degree.
• Mastery of logistical, commercial, and shopping centre development.
• Project ownership and acquisition due diligence.
• Knowledge of applicable building regulations.
• Experience securing buildings.
• Management of technical projects for new operations and major restructuring.
• Strong operational and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a very good listening ability.
• English proficiency at C1 level.
