Job title : Technical Product Leader - Oral and Semi-solid product portfolio (80% cosmetic - 20% drug)
Job Description:
Lead and coordinate technical and regulatory activities from early stage (candidate selection) to product approval, in line with Global R&D strategy, quality system, international standards, and regulatory requirements. The scope includes semi-solid (95%) and oral products, with drug (20%) and cosmetic (80%) statuses.
Define, implement, and lead activities for new product development and lifecycle management within Galderma's portfolio.
Contribute to the company's growth and interact with local and global stakeholders.
Ensure activities comply with strategies, regulatory standards, and quality systems.
Report to CMC Semi-solid & Oral Product Science Leadership Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and present strategic recommendations based on technical and scientific knowledge.
- Lead development and implementation of methods, procedures, and documentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to define and execute CMC/development strategies.
- Represent the team in core projects and liaise with other departments and external partners.
- Manage execution of development plans according to global project timelines, budget, and risk mitigation.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Support regulatory documentation and interactions with authorities.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain teams, especially during project transfer phases.
- Oversee outsourcing activities and agreements.
- Stay updated on guidance documents, standards, and industry trends.
- Participate in due diligence and external opportunity assessments.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Pharm-D / Engineer / PhD or master's in pharmaceutical sciences, cosmetics, chemistry, biology, or related fields.
- 10+ years in cosmetics, with at least 5 years supporting semi-solid product development globally.
- Strong project management experience.
- Understanding of cosmetic formulation, process, analytical development, and registration; drug development experience is a plus.
- Risk management expertise.
- Experience in external partnerships: suppliers, CDMO, CRO, academia.
- Fluent in English; French skills are a plus.
