That's why we're building Alexandria , the world's largest library of real-world business workflow datasets. We're backed by Y Combinator (S26) . Over the next 6 months, we'll acquire and anonymize 300+ full data ecosystems from real-world companies to become the leader in real-world business workflow data. This summer, we're assembling a small, senior team to move extremely fast and cement our lead in company data.

Job Description

Your role

Reporting directly to Grégoire (CPO/COO & co-founder), you will sit at the center of how we turn signed data deals into delivered, RL-ready datasets. This is a hands-on role for someone technical who loves solving real operational problems, someone equally at ease talking with a client, reading technical documentation, and editing a connector.

You Will Own Two Core Missions

• Own data extraction with our partners

Once We Sign a Dataset Contract, You Become The Main Point Of Contact Between The Partner (most Often Their CEO) And The Ooak Data Stack. You Will Not Run Every Extraction Alone, But You Make It Happen End To End

• Build a trusted, direct relationship with the partner so extraction goes smoothly and they feel taken care of.
• Connect our extraction apps and connectors to their systems, get the right accesses, and troubleshoot when things break.
• Adjust, edit, and adapt connectors when a partner's setup does not fit the standard path.
• Keep the partner informed, protect their data and their trust, and make Ooak the easiest company they work with.
• Tool and automate the Ooak team

Internally, you help the whole team move faster by removing friction between extraction and RL-env-ready data.

• Spot repetitive, manual steps in the data flow and turn them into reliable, automated workflows.
• Ship small internal tools and improvements that make Ops and the wider team's life easier.
• Work closely with the tech team, who handle most of the heavy lifting, and cover the gaps with light coding, scripting, and AI tooling.
• Propose concrete optimizations and take ownership of quality, timelines, and operational efficiency across deliverables.

Preferred Experience

What we are looking for

You have 5+ years of experience in operations, data, project management, or a fast-paced startup or technical environment, and you want real ownership in an early-stage company. You are equally at ease in front of a partner CEO and inside a terminal.

Soft skills

Hard skills

We are not looking for a full-time developer. We are looking for someone with a technical foundation who works AI-first and uses AI as daily leverage to build, automate, and move faster.

• Technical background (serious bonus). Experience as a data engineer, software engineer, or any technical role is a strong plus. You can read, edit, and debug code and connectors even if you do not write software all day.
• Automation mindset. You instinctively spot repetitive work and turn it into reliable, automated pipelines.
• Building with AI. You use LLMs and AI tools to automate workflows, draft solutions, and solve problems end to end.
• Coding / scripting. You can write or vibe-code to automate tasks, glue systems together, and ship internal tools, or you are hungry to learn fast.
• Client-facing ability. You are comfortable being the front contact with partners and clients. Any sales or technical-sales experience is welcome.
• AI literacy. Genuine interest in and understanding of where the field is going (agents, RL, data).
• Fluent English (mandatory). It is our working language with partners and the labs.

Why this role matters

Data only creates value once it flows cleanly from a partner's systems into an RL-ready environment. You are the person who makes that happen, and who keeps our partners confident that their data is in good hands. You will have significant freedom to act and real room to bring your own ideas, initiatives, and solutions.
