We hire a Technical Manager (hybrid profile, shared between remote work and business trips) in long-term contract.

Part of the Davey Bickford Enaex Europe Sales department, the Technical Manager supports technically the sales in coordination with the Key Account Manager in different parts of the world, acting with safety, security and responsibility. She/he ensures the proper use of our products and equipment, promoting blasting performance, being aware of the capability of the electronic blasting system, while being part of an international group.

Key Challenges :Traveling from some days to some weeks in a row at customer sites and at the factory (in Héry near Auxerre)

Providing training to customers and users

Deploying Davey Bickford most appropriate solution to customer sites

Managing good working conditions and proper use of the equipment

Ensuring technical feedback from customers to the proper services of the factory and vice versa, in close relation with the Key Account Manager

Working closely with the rest of the team (Technical Managers and KAM) and company stakeholders (support marketing, project managers, quality, etc.)

Becoming expert in the use of the company’s blasting systems

Communicating with customers, solving their issues, building intimacy visiting them regularly

Giving feedback on competition products, identifying opportunities and technology

Being open to technology and engineering support need

Holder of an engineer degree in technical education, you have experience in field operations such as construction, quarry, mines.

Fluent in English, you can easily communicate, inform, make presentation and give trainings.

Your ability to learn about our products and become an expert on them allows you to bring a qualitative support to our customers.

You are autonomous, knowing how to optimize your workload and travel alone; but you also need to have a lot of interactions with your colleagues, other departments and customers.

You are resourceful, adaptable and able to find solution to different kind of problems.
