Position overview:

The Maintenance & Projects Manager ensures the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of all plant equipment and facilities while leading maintenance, repair, and improvement initiatives. This role focuses on maximizing equipment uptime, optimizing production processes, controlling maintenance and repair (M&R) costs, managing spare parts and inventory, and delivering capital and improvement projects on time and within budget. By coordinating engineering, maintenance, and project teams, the manager drives operational excellence, continuous improvement, and value creation while fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with environmental, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Ensure plant equipment and systems operate reliably and efficiently. Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime. Manage spare parts inventory to minimize downtime and support maintenance needs.

Plan, execute, and deliver capital and improvement projects on time and within budget. Coordinate with engineering and other plant teams to implement process or facility upgrades. Monitor project performance and ensure adherence to designs, specifications, and standards.
