As a Technical Support Engineer within the Technical Assistance team, and as part of the execution of dedicated service contracts, you will be responsible for updating the UD45 Reference Files (DR) for EDF. Depending on workload and availability, you will also provide backup support for technical assistance contracts for all customers, as well as Field Service and workshop activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting and monitoring Modification Requests (following the FM process and customer-specific requirements).
- Updating EDF UD45 Reference Files (UD45V20, UD45V16 Bugey).
- Monitoring KPIs and preparing internal and external reports.
- Participating in customer events (technical forums, Wedgoo, etc.).
- Formalizing customer and internal feedback/lessons learned (REX).
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of dedicated processes.
- Providing backup support for other technical assistance contracts (hotlines, on-site support at nuclear power plants).
- Providing reinforcement to Field Service and workshop teams when required (exceptional cases).
- Strictly applying all safety, quality, and operational standards in force.
Impact of the Position
Your work will have a direct impact on customer productivity and satisfaction. It will also contribute to WSPA's operational performance and the successful execution of spare parts deliveries, as well as engine and component refurbishment activities.
To Succeed in This Role, We Expect You To Have
- Practical knowledge of UD45 engines and their operation.
- Strong analytical and technical writing skills, particularly for drafting Modification Requests.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in customer-facing interactions, both remote and on-site.
- Good proficiency with office software and internal systems (SAP NOVA, TKB, etc.).
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A strong focus on quality requirements, both internal and customer-specific.
