Technical Delivery Manager

Overview

rhi is recruiting for an experienced Project Technical Delivery Manager to join our client's team in KL, Malaysia. This is a contract until the 31st of March 2027 - possible extension.

- Our client will not provide a laptop - candidate must use their own.

Purpose of Role:

• The objective for the Project Manager is to provide project management services to business facing IT teams to support their business and technology change initiatives.
• This role is responsible for the planning, budgeting, resourcing, coordination and control of diverse IT projects that meet business requirements that align with Technology standards/strategy as well as the ANZ business strategy.
• The Project Manager will have a broad knowledge of project management methods and tools, be qualified in at least one industry methodology, be capable of managing multiple projects, focus on outcomes, engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership - Own the project vision and its implementation.

Champion our client's project management standards and best practice methodologies and tools (Our client's Capital Value Process (CVP) and Project Delivery Methodology (PDM)) within TECHNOLOGY and across relevant projects within the business.

Set, communicate and manage project expectations and dependencies with stakeholders on a regular basis.

Assets - Manage and deliver projects that meet business requirements from stakeholders using project management standards and best practice methodologies and tools.

Ensure project documentation and artefacts are managed, shared and filed as appropriate.

Coordinate with business as well with peers across local, Australian and global TECHNOLOGY including Infrastructure & Integration Services, Digital Security & Risk, and Business Application Services - Service Delivery teams, as well as 3rd parties.

Risk - Ensure project solutions maintain the integrity of systems/applications and processes by applying good design principles and operating practices that prevent and control incidents or outages that have the potential to disrupt or introduce Operational Risks to the business processes.

Optimisation - Perform post implementation reviews as required. Be responsive to requests for audit, compliance and process control assistance.

Results - Manage project scope to ensure that cost, time and quality are managed within agreed tolerances. Manage all changes to scope and ensure they are agreed with Governance and/or Business Owner (Gatekeeper).

Demonstrated experience

• Tertiary Degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent;
• Project Management experience

Education

• Prince 2 or PMP Certified;
• ITIL v3 Foundation certification preferable;
• Relevant industry experience
