Mission fit

You will help define a product line that prioritizes quality over quantity, real-time safe engineering, and musical-first outcomes. This role is for someone who wants ownership and is excited to build the foundation.

Responsibilities

• Implement DSP algorithms across pitch, formant, phase, and saturation domains
• Own plugin architecture (VST3/AU), performance profiling, and release stability
• Enforce real-time safety: no allocations on the audio thread, no locks, stable CPU
• Partner on product direction with a minimal, high-signal UI philosophy

Requirements

• Strong modern C++ (C++17/20)
• Audio DSP fundamentals (filters, dynamics, spectral tools)
• Plugin format experience (VST3/AU) or JUCE familiarity
• Profiling and performance discipline

Nice-to-haves

• Anti-aliasing or ADAA familiarity
• CI/testing for plugins (pluginval, automated DAW smoke tests)
