Technical Account Manager
We have a great opportunity to join an innovative sales team at EBV Elektronik . We are looking for an experienced technical salesperson who has solid experience dealing with customers and generating profit from existing relationships. You will inherit an already established patch of ten customers from the industrial sector in Western France, with the goal to identify customer needs, apply our value proposition, drive sales growth, improve profitability, develop strategic relationships, and align customer and business goals.

The Ideal Person
- Strong commercial understanding of semiconductor distribution, including market dynamics, pricing, and supply considerations
- Electronics engineering degree or equivalent technical knowledge of semiconductors
- Proven experience managing complex, strategic OEM customer accounts
- Deep knowledge of semiconductor technologies, supplier portfolios, and the competitive landscape
- Recognised as a trusted technical and commercial partner by customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Highly effective in complex sales environments, owning account strategies and influencing cross‑functional stakeholders
- Applies sound analytical judgement to identify opportunities, manage risk, and deliver value‑based solutions
- Leads high‑value, strategically important negotiations with authority to agree commercial terms
- Acts as a role model and mentor, supporting the development of less‑experienced colleagues
- Builds and sustains long‑term relationships with key customers, driving revenue growth and protecting the company’s reputation
What You Will Be Doing
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, coordinating resources to drive high levels of customer satisfaction, loyalty, and share of wallet
- Build strong, strategic relationships with customers to understand business goals, growth strategies, and profit drivers
- Develop and execute customer account plans aligned to our solutions, services, and supplier partnerships
- Lead critical customer planning, engagement, and governance activities
- Analyze customer opportunities and leverage supplier and marketing programs to drive solution adoption and revenue growth
- Engage customers in joint business planning to secure commitment to long‑term strategies that strengthen our market position and financial performance
- Conduct regular business reviews to track progress against revenue, growth, and engagement objectives
- Manage and forecast the sales pipeline, monitor key performance metrics, and identify improvement opportunities
- Support supplier strategies by aligning technologies and solutions to customer applications to maximize profitable growth
- Prioritize customers and opportunities with the greatest strategic and commercial potential
- Manage account profitability by minimizing margin erosion and maximizing gross profit
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required to support the wider business
