About the role TreeHouse is seeking a Tech Lead for our Leadflow product, designed to assist real estate agents in optimizing their candidate processes from lead generation to rental completion. As our platform and ambitions expand, we are looking for someone to guide the technical aspects of the Leadflow team, mentor developers, and collaborate with the Engineering Manager to shape our technical vision. This position is a blend of leadership and hands-on involvement, making you the technical compass for the team.

What you'll do

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to define and execute the technical strategy for Leadflow.
• Participate in architectural discussions and decisions to enhance the platform.
• Ensure best practices in coding and development processes are followed.
• Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to align on project goals.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS or Azure.
• Experience with modern web frameworks, such as React or Angular.
• Proven track record of leading technical projects and mentoring junior developers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience in the real estate or property management sector.
• Knowledge of database technologies like PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
