Tech Lead, Java, J2EE

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in the success of projects and support development teams
• Supervise, mentor and upskill developers
• Ensure technical consistency of developments and adherence to deadlines
• Estimate effort for changes and participate in work planning
• Maintain smooth communication with international development teams in English
• Ensure compliance with development best practices, quality standards and architectural principles
• Participate in implementing new methodologies and improving development processes

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or equivalent
• Significant experience in Java development
• Technical team leadership experience
• Proficiency in Java / JEE, Spring Framework, Angular and/or Ember.js
• Knowledge of web architectures and service-oriented architectures (SOA)
• Familiar with development best practices (code reviews, software quality, CI/CD…)
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
