Location: Nantes. Employment type: CDI (full‑time). Work mode: Hybrid.
About the Role
Lead a technical team while continuing to code. Set the example in code quality, engineering practices and knowledge transfer, and balance technical decisions with a product focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design modern, robust, and scalable architectures.
- Develop in Java 21+ and master the Spring Boot ecosystem.
- Consider performance, resilience, observability and scalability in every solution.
- Participate in product or platform strategic decisions.
- Mentor developers and support their technical growth.
- Conduct demanding yet constructive code reviews.
- Challenge technical choices when they add value.
- Promote and spread software‑engineering best practices across teams.
- Build Cloud‑Native architectures at large scale.
- Modernise strategic information systems for large accounts.
- Mentor technical teams and help them reach the next level.
- Create high‑volume backend platforms.
- Work on projects that combine Java, Cloud, Data and generative AI.
- Implement standards for quality, security and observability.
- Support adoption of new development practices enabled by AI.
Qualifications
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable Java architectures.
- Solid mastery of Java 21+ and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of performance, resilience, observability and scalability.
- Experience in technical decision making for products or platforms.
- Hands‑on mentoring and coaching skills.
- Deep knowledge of code‑review best practices.
- Proactive in challenging technical choices that add value.

Compensation and Working Conditions
- Salary determined after technical evaluation (PlayOffs); reviewed annually.
