As part of the Digital & Guest Experience Tribe, this Feature Team develops the data products used by the Digital Experience and Content teams. These products enable, for example, the monitoring of the performance of the Accor Group’s websites and the ALL mobile app (analysis of user journeys, conversion funnels, etc.), as well as the scoring of hotel listings on the ALL website (completeness of information, relevance of images, etc.).

Your mission

Reporting to the Data Engineering Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Co‑leading the “Digital Experience” Feature Team (facilitation, prioritisation, planning, etc.)
  • Building a strong partnership with the Product Owner counterpart
  • Supervising the Data Engineers: 4 external staff (individual monitoring, particularly with digital service providers, etc.)
  • Ensuring the implementation of best development practices (DevOps, Quality, FinOps, etc.)
  • Contributing to the scoping, breakdown and high‑level estimation of new projects
  • Guiding technical and modelling choices in line with Accor standards (Snowflake urbanisation, architectural patterns, etc.)
  • Delivering Data products (Analytics & AI) in accordance with agreed quality and deadline commitments
  • Managing communication and resolution in case of incidents
  • Keeping line managers informed, alerting them or requesting assistance in case of a risk or problem
  • Participating in events organised at the Data or Engineering vertical level
  • Work with the team to deliver a number of enhancements to the strategic Content Scorecard initiative, in collaboration with the AI team: homepage scoring, updates to existing scores, etc.
  • Ensure a good distribution of skills and product expertise within the team to avoid reliance on any single individual and enable a smooth rotation of duties
  • Audit the Data products, formalise an assessment of the current technical infrastructure, and propose a plan: debt reduction, efficiency improvements, financial optimisation (FinOps), exploration of new features
  • Foster a positive team dynamic (collaboration, motivation, participation, etc.) as part of the transition of the Tech Lead / Product Owner duo leading this Feature Team

What about you?

  • You have solid experience in data engineering and team management
  • Ideally, you have previous experience in Digital Marketing or a demonstrated interest in the field

Technical skills

  • In‑depth knowledge of Snowflake features and analytical/BI modelling
  • Previous experience with our orchestration tools (Astronomer/Airflow) and transformation tools (dbt)
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Expertise in Tableau or other data visualisation solutions (PowerBI, Looker, etc.)
  • Proficiency in AI and GenAI tools and platforms to optimise daily delivery (automation of data engineering tasks, improvement of CI/CD processes, exploration of innovative solutions, etc.)
  • Strong product culture, with a flexible and pragmatic Agile approach
  • Leadership with a dynamic mindset and the ability to transform your teams’ practices (Peer Review, Testing, Run Management, FinOps, etc.)
  • Ability to estimate, plan and monitor activities across one or more projects and manage demanding stakeholders
  • Professional demeanour and written/oral communication skills appropriate to the hierarchical level of your counterparts in French and English (fluency required)
