Tech Lead Data & Analytics (Snowflake, dbt, Tableau) F/M/X

Responsibilities

As a technical advisor and guarantor of "quality/performance," your job will be to manage the people involved in developing and improving data products. Within the Data department, you will co‑lead a Feature Team (FT) alongside a Product Owner to provide the best Data Products (Analytics and AI) to your users while ensuring the lowest possible service cost.

  • Managing and coaching a team of Data Engineers (internal and external)
  • Ensuring the implementation of best development practices (DevOps, etc.)
  • Making technical and modeling choices in consultation with other Data Leads (Snowflake urbanization, patterns, dependencies, quality, etc.)
  • Integrating data sources under the responsibility of your FT via our in‑house "DataHub" solution
  • Industrializing Data products (analytics & AI)
  • Optimizing their performance and costs (FinOps)

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an engineering school or with a specialized master’s degree, with at least five years of significant experience in data and previous managerial experience.
  • Strong teamwork orientation and excellent communication skills, indicating natural team leadership.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage a technical team, supervise service providers, and provide technical leadership for our Data Engineering community.
  • Fluency in English (working language).

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python
  • In‑depth knowledge of Snowflake features
  • Knowledge of dbt
  • Experience in data science and data products (analytics & AI)
  • Experience with different data modeling techniques
  • Bonus: Tableau (or other analytics tools), FinOps culture, and e‑commerce skills (SEO/SEA)
