Overview
Looking to launch your tech career working on high impact projects within a demanding, innovative, and truly international environment? The CIB ITO Tech Graduate Program offers a permanent contract from day one and an accelerated 18‑month journey designed as a genuine fast track toward IT expertise within BNP Paribas' Corporate & Investment Bank. Throughout the program, you will work closely with expert teams on major technological challenges for CIB, with the objective to:

Day‑to‑Day
You will begin the program with an 18‑month immersion within a single department, during which you will complete two to three assignments. These roles will primarily be based in the Paris region, with occasional opportunities for international business travel.

Mentoring is a key component of the program; you will regularly meet with a mentor who will help you take a step back, structure your progression, and carve out an ambitious tech career path within CIB ITO.
Missions, Team and Working Environment
CIB ITO teams design, maintain, and evolve CIB's information systems and applications. Depending on the business line you join, you will be based in Paris, Pantin, or Montreuil.
Your Responsibilities
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play an active role in CIB ITO activities. You will focus on operating systems, transfer tools, web or application servers, container and orchestration solutions, and telecom services such as LAN, WIFI, MAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, network security, internet infrastructure, hosting, load balancing, WAF, DNS, remote access, automation, and data visualization. Your mission will include:
- Maintaining services in operational condition and ensuring their security and performance
- Conducting studies to support transformation projects and deploying technical solutions, particularly within a cloud‑focused environment
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and interacting with vendors to manage technical aspects
Key activities may include:
- Defining standards, engineering rules, processes, and configuration management tools
- Building deployment infrastructures and automating recurring operational tasks
- Optimizing server environments
- Transforming current activities into orchestrated, on‑demand models
- Ensuring operational maintenance of infrastructure
- Installing and maintaining cluster environments
- Contributing to transformation projects and deploying technical solutions
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Compensation & Benefits
- Fixed annual salary: €50,000 gross (paid over 12 months)
- Variable annual bonus: €0–€5,000 gross, based on individual and collective performance, company results and profitability (paid annually and prorated)

Eligibility
The Graduate Program is open to candidates with less than 2 years of professional experience (excluding internships and apprenticeships), with a maximum of 24 months of post‑graduation experience.
- A Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or equivalent university, specialized in IT.
- A strong passion for new technologies.
- The ability and willingness to work with multicultural, local and remote teams.
- An interest in corporate finance.
- Proficiency in French (B2 level or above) and fluency in English (C1 level or above).
Required Technical Skills
- Good understanding of orchestration tools such as vRO, SCCM, Ansible, Jenkins and Chef.
- Knowledge of production environments.
- Strong expertise in cross‑functional technologies related to:
- Storage: SAN, EMC, IBM, NetApp, ECS
- Cloud: Azure, IBM, Kubernetes, Docker
- Networks: Cisco, Arista
- Security: Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Infoblox, F5
- Excellent command of Windows, Linux and AIX environments.
- Solid understanding of hardware fundamentals, operating systems, middleware, automation, storage, DBMS, scripting languages and networks.
- Good knowledge of clusters (Geoclusters and WFC, Veritas and GPFS, PowerHA, Sysplex and GDPS), virtualization (vSphere, HCI, VMware, Citrix, HVD), and IT development languages (PowerShell, Python, Java, Ruby, PHP).
- In telecommunications, understanding of WAN/MAN/LAN/WLAN technologies, protocols and Internet technologies (Proxy, DHCP, Firewall, Load Balancer).
- Ability to work on development and automation projects (Ansible, Python, GitLab, Bitbucket).
