Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Tech Data Engineering Specialist (f/m) to join our Customer Services Department based in Toulouse, France.

Function Overview

The French Technical Data Airframe department provides a wide view on Aircraft Structure and works directly with the Design Office that manages the airframe design and evolution. Your role will be to document their impact in the manuals, support our customers operating and maintaining aircraft, and contribute to aircraft deliveries by furnishing the Technical Data on time and in quality.

Main Challenge

Ensure that the maintenance manuals reflect design changes and understand the immediate impact of these changes on customer operations, with the objective to provide customized documentation in accordance with aircraft configuration and ICA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Secure delivery of documentation content (creation and updates) in accordance with specifications, contractual commitments, approved schedules, quality standards, safety rules and within budget objectives.
• Do internal preparation and authoring of technical manuals.
• Ensure team support on internal authoring activities (update/creation of AMM/TSM/CMM tasks).
• Analyze and collect Design Office source data to define the impact on AMM, TSM and CMM data delivered to the airlines (Service Bulletin, Modification Proposal, Concession).
• Launch activities to subcontractors in charge of the Technical Data authoring.
• Steer and support the subcontracted activities and check the quality of the deliveries.
• Ensure efficient customer support by answering customer queries relative to your field of activities (airlines, maintenance centre, delivery centre) and implementing documentation changes if necessary.

Required Qualifications

• More than 5 years of technical background in aeronautics.
• Ability to follow up activities.
• Customer‑minded.
• Good team player and good organisational skills.
• Dynamic, proactive and positive mindset.
• English advanced level (C1).

Preferred Skills

• Aircraft Configuration Management concept.
• SAP tool.
• Airframe knowledge.

Security Requirements

The position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
