Lesaffre International campus at Marquette-Lez-Lille (France) gathers approximately 800 people including Lesaffre Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) the largest R&D organization of Lesaffre. LIST community grows and is seeking a senior scientist to join the Nutrition Microbiota and Health center of excellence.
Role and Responsibilities
Our company is a leading B2B innovator in the development of fermentation-based ingredients for the food and feed industries. With a strong focus on science-driven solutions, we are seeking a seasoned senior scientist with metabolic health expertise to drive our nutrition translational research activities to join our R&D teams and help shape the future of our product portfolio with a primary focus on human health. As a senior scientist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the R&D team and associated projects characterizing or identifying novel nutritional ingredients that address the evolving needs of our customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leveraging your expertise in human physiology, nutrition, and metabolic health to guide the design and execution of evidence-development plan and the efficacy demonstration for our ingredients.
- Translating scientific insights into viable product concepts and supporting the regulatory approval process, bridging the gap between research and real-world applications in collaboration with our business unit stakeholders from Research & application and Regulatory & scientific affair teams to align R&D priorities with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Communicating complex scientific information to both technical and non-technical audiences, securing buy-in and driving the implementation of your ideas.
- Contributing to the development of annual plans and budgets.
- Lead a team, manage and develop your line reports.
