Team
Lead the refiner squad, currently composed of several developers, growing to about seven developers.
Role Overview
Team Lead – /refine squad. You will manage the squad, improve user experience on Office deliverables, and drive IA initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Team management: create a supportive environment, mentor, coach and pair‑program developers.
- Drive new IA feature development in collaboration with Product Manager.
- Integrate IA tools and orchestrate solutions.
- Technology watch and propose IA concepts.
- Code quality: pair‑programming, clean code, reviews, unit tests, CI/CD.
- Continuous improvement practices such as retrospectives, health checks, and post‑mortems.
Objectives
- 3 months – establish trust, grasp product, instantiate IA vision.
- 6 months – master processes, lead IA initiatives, raise squad proficiency, foster high‑performance culture.
Technology Stack
- Client: .NET 4.8
- Testing: NUnit, Fluent Assertions, Moq, AutoFixture
- Cloud: Azure (hosting, CI/CD, Git)
- Other tools: Sentry, App Insights, R#, Entity Framework, MS SQL
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of development experience, 3 years of technical team management.
- Experience with IA on a commercial product.
- Leadership, alignment of product, technical and business goals.
- Curiosity, energy, motivation for UpSlide.
- Passion for clean code and TDD.
- Focus on user experience.
- English proficiency (B2 oral).
- Adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Recruitment Process
- Phone interview with recruitment partner.
- Live coding interview.
- Refactoring exercise and technical/management discussion.
- Final interview with CTO and Head of Dev.
