Role Mission
As Software Engineer Team Lead EU, you will lead and develop a high-performing engineering team while owning the delivery of complex software products. You will drive technical decision-making, establish engineering best practices, and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and impactful solutions that support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 4‑5 engineers — support growth, manage workload distribution, and maintain team health.
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of a complex, multi‑component product — from technical planning through deployment, ensuring quality and timelines are met.
- Drive architectural and technical decisions across the stack (Node.js, TypeScript, RabbitMQ, MongoDB), setting standards for code quality, reviews, and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate product requirements into technical scope, manage dependencies, and communicate progress and risks clearly.
Skills And Experience
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript, including hands‑on work with event‑driven systems (RabbitMQ or similar).
- Prior experience leading or mentoring a development team, with the ability to delegate effectively and support mid‑level engineers.
- Solid understanding of MongoDB data modeling and experience designing systems with complex, interdependent components.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab workflows — branching strategies, pipeline configuration, and release management.
