Our client is an internationally recognized solar energy company. Their growing global presence includes regional headquarters within Europe, US, Asia & China. With a global footprint across 150+ countries they are a well respected Tier-1 organization within the PV space.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior strategic lead for important French acquisitions, guaranteeing enduring collaboration and company expansion. Oversee, mentor, and cultivate a group of Key Account Managers to promote productivity and career advancement. • Create and implement strategic account plans to surpass utility-scale PV, BESS, and mounting solutions revenue, profitability, and cross‑selling goals.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide customized solutions that satisfy market and customer demands.
- Work cross‑functionally with the technical, product, delivery, and marketing teams to guarantee that complicated, multi‑product transactions are executed smoothly.
- Go beyond single‑product sales by positioning integrated energy solutions (modules + storage + mounting) to optimize customer value.
- Keep an eye on French energy market regulations, policies, and subsidies to give internal stakeholders strategic insights.
- Manage strategic client entertainment budgets and represent us at CEO summits, client workshops, and site visits.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, renewable energy, or a similar discipline is required; an MBA.
- Requires more than 10+ of B2B key account management experience in renewable energy and a track record of success in utility‑scale photovoltaics, energy storage, or trackers. shown expertise in senior‑level strategic account management, including EDF, Engie, and Equans Formal or informal team leadership experience that has been demonstrated, including coaching, performance management, and talent development
- Strong knowledge in selling solutions and integrated solutions (modules, BESS, mounting structures)
- Strong business acumen, including financial modeling for multi‑product transactions, margin optimization, and pricing strategies
- Familiarity with complex contract negotiations, framework agreements, and EPC tenders
- Proficient in French and English (C1 or higher); knowledge of other European languages is advantageous.
- Outstanding negotiation, cultural sensitivity, and stakeholder management skills to function well
