- Working hours / Teaching load :
- Core Load: ~29% (5.25 hrs / 18 hrs) – Physics for the Swiss Federal Maturité (French stream)
- Option 1 (+16.6%): +3 hrs / 18 hrs – MYP Science (Year 9 – French stream)
- Option 2 (+37.5%): +6.75 hrs / 18 hrs – IGCSE Physics (English stream – if bilingual)

Your role and responsibilities
- Teach Physics for the Swiss Federal Maturité program (French-speaking section).
- Depending on your profile: teach Science (physics-chemistry and biology) within the French MYP framework (Year 9) and/or Physics for the IGCSE program in English.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide detailed reports to parents.
- Ensure the progression and coverage of the curriculum for all students.
- Work in close collaboration with departmental colleagues to develop teaching resources, assessments, and enrichment activities.
Candidate requirements
Qualifications And Experience
- University degree and a recognized teaching qualification in Physics (Swiss Maturité / Secondary II).
- Native or fluent proficiency in French (language of instruction for Maturité and MYP).
- Bilingualism in French and English is a distinct advantage (required for the additional IGCSE teaching load in English).
- Strong ability to integrate educational technology into classroom learning and laboratory activities.
- Experience working collaboratively with a laboratory technician.
- Excellent classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
