What is the role and company?

A leading international advisory firm is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager – SAP S/4HANA Tax Integration to join its growing transformation team. This is a hybrid role based in Paris, France, and is ideal for professionals with a strong background in SAP S/4HANA and a deep understanding of tax and finance processes.

This opportunity is well-suited for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, tax, and finance, and who can translate complex business needs into practical, system-enabled solutions. The role is focused on supporting multinational clients through large-scale ERP transformations, embedding tax functionality into core SAP processes.

What will I be doing?

• Lead Functional Design: Drive or support the tax workstream within major SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Tax Process Integration: Analyse and define requirements across indirect tax, direct tax, transfer pricing, withholding, compliance, and e-invoicing.
• Cross-Module Collaboration: Work closely with SAP functional teams (FI, SD, MM) to design and validate tax-relevant process flows and controls.
• Technology Enablement: Advise on the use of native SAP tax tools (e.g., SAP RAM, BRF+, DRC/ACR) and third-party tax engines (e.g., Vertex, ONESOURCE).
• Data Modelling: Help define the tax data model, including master data and transaction mapping.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate workshops with tax, finance, and IT stakeholders to align system design with business objectives.
• Thought Leadership: Contribute to internal knowledge development and capability building in the SAP and tax technology space.

What profile will I require?

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in SAP transformation, tax technology, or finance systems.
• SAP Knowledge: Strong functional understanding of SAP S/4HANA, particularly in tax-sensitive modules such as FI, SD, and MM.
• Tax Technology: Hands-on experience with tax automation tools such as SAP RAM, BRF+, SAP DRC/ACR, Vertex, or ONESOURCE.
• Business Translation: Proven ability to convert business and tax requirements into SAP functional specifications.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Languages: Fluent in English and French.
• Consulting Background: Experience in a consulting or client-facing environment is highly desirable.
