Systems Services Manager (F/M/N)
Purpose of the Role
As the System Services Manager, you will lead the department responsible for critical maintenance activities, troubleshooting, spare parts supply, and modifications for our installed system base.
Your primary mission is to drive necessary transformations within the department to achieve exceptional levels of customer satisfaction, enhance team competency, and ensure financial profitability. You will also expand our customer service capabilities to support new, advanced solutions within the Yokogawa Group, keeping our offerings at the forefront of industrial automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial results to ensure department revenue and margin targets are met.
- Engage with your team, providing guidance, motivation, and resolving operational challenges.
- Translate the Group’s vision into actionable departmental goals and define the organizational structure to support them.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as the System Sales Manager, Project Managers, and European operations teams.
- Lead strategic planning, resource allocation, and budget management to achieve ambitious financial targets.
- Foster talent development by identifying training needs, supporting upskilling initiatives, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Maintain strict adherence to HSE and quality standards, coordinate risk prevention plans, and conduct field audits.
- Manage hiring, job descriptions, evaluations, objectives, and performance appraisal processes.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Over 15 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or Automation, with proven experience managing operations teams.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken). French language skills are a plus.
- Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong leadership qualities: results‑driven, assertive, excellent listener, rigorous, analytical, and strong interpersonal skills with cost awareness.
- Valid HSE authorizations, including Category B driver’s license, electrical permits (H0, H0V, B2, B2V, B2V Test, BE Testing, BR, BC), Chemical site authorization N2, ATEX Level 1, and medical fitness for electrical/chemical site work.
