With over 200 employees, the business is developing innovative aircraft programmes focused on improving efficiency and reducing emissions across the aviation sector.
As development and certification activities continue to progress, they are seeking a Systems Quality Engineer to support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's Quality Management System.
The Role
Working within the Quality Department, you will support the implementation of quality processes, aerospace standards and regulatory requirements across the organisation.
This is a hands‑on role involving quality systems, internal audits, non‑conformity management, regulatory training, certification and continuous improvement. You will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and other internal teams to ensure quality standards are embedded throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation and evolution of the Quality Management System
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including manuals, procedures and training materials
- Support the implementation of quality processes across the organisation
- Manage non‑conformities and quality incidents from identification through analysis, corrective action and closure
- Support FOD prevention and anomaly management processes
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities
- Develop and deliver internal quality and regulatory training
- Conduct internal audits across areas including PART 21J, PART 21G, CAD, SMS and special processes
- Support certification projects including EN 9100 and PART 145
- Contribute to the implementation and development of the Safety Management System
- Monitor compliance with applicable aerospace quality and regulatory standards
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Production teams to identify and resolve quality issues
- Drive continuous improvement across quality processes and systems
About You
- Degree qualified in Quality, Engineering or a similar discipline
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or quality systems
- Previous experience within the aerospace or aviation industry
- Strong knowledge of aerospace quality and regulatory standards
- Experience with EN 9100, PART 21G, PART 21J, PART 145 and CAD
- Strong knowledge of quality tools including 8D, PPAP and FMECA
- Experience managing non‑conformities, quality incidents and corrective actions
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable working across multiple functions and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
- Professional English required
- Aerospace certification and regulatory projects

- Previous experience within a Part 21J or Part 21G environment
