Position: Systems Engineer (R2-R4) to implement the next-generation Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Serve as the point of contact between teams, align manufacturing sites\' milestones, and define and execute an integrated deployment plan. Ensure that implemented solutions adhere to global standards while aligning with other digital initiatives. Partner with site/global project leaders to develop and deploy robust support models for manufacturing sites. (#LI-DNI)

Responsibilities

  • Implement the next-generation Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Ensure alignment of manufacturing sites’ strategic milestones and act as the point of contact between teams.
  • Define and execute an integrated deployment plan for MES implementations.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to global standards and align with other digital initiatives.
  • Implement support models for manufacturing sites in collaboration with site and global project leaders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field plus 1 year of experience with MES implementation and project management within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience includes: 1 year with managing master batch record deployments.
  • 1 year with change management and user adoption strategies for large-scale system implementations.
  • 1 year with computer system validation, including generation of testing artifacts for MES.
  • 1 year with developing formal training guides for businesses or end-users of manufacturing solutions.
  • 1 year with MSOEs and S95/S88 models.
  • Part-time telecommuting permitted; up to 15% domestic and international travel required (#LI-DNI).

Compensation and benefits

Actual compensation will depend on education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $89,149.00 - $102,521.35 per year. Full-time equivalent employees are eligible for a company bonus (subject to company and individual performance). Lilly offers a comprehensive benefits program, including eligibility to participate in a company-sponsored 401(k); pension; vacation benefits; medical, dental, vision and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits; life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).
