Job Description At Philips Cardiologs, we’re on a mission to revolutionize medical diagnostics by making them more efficient and accessible to everyone, anywhere, at any time. Our flagship product is a SaaS application that assists physicians in diagnosing cardiac diseases, which is already deployed globally.

The Systems Engineer is responsible for delivering high quality (subsystems of) products, by meeting user and business requirements, managing complexity, technical leadership, and stakeholder management.

Your role:

Overall technical leadership and responsibility for realization of full systems product release/life cycle management to ensure quality and compliance. Translation of user and business requirements into product requirements, high level product design, check and optimize integration and verification. System decomposition and allocation of derived requirements down to Software element and part level and related traceability. Trade-off of product/system design specifications and interfaces, determine feasibility of potential solutions, and leading technical & design reviews. Ensuring full Product Safety Risk Management in a regulation compliant manner.

You’re the right fit if:

You’ve acquired 3+ years of relevant experience in professional engineering with demonstrated technical leadership skills (medical device industry strongly preferred). Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools/methodology strongly preferred. Your skills include ability to manage complexity, drive results, and persuade stakeholders effectively in the interest of patient safety and quality. You are experienced with relevant medical device industry standards (ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 62366, FDA GMP, etc.) You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering and/or business discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education. You’re an excellent communicator with strong problem‑solving skills related to the systems engineering discipline. Ability to influence and lead work groups is desired.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office‑based teams, this means working in‑person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full‑time presence in the company’s facilities. This role is an office role in Paris.

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is 45,630.00 EUR - 76,050.00 EUR. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you’ll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations. This role is eligible for bonus with your rewards linked to KPIs/company results.
