Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a System Methods and Tools - Experimented Epic Owner (f/m) to join our Systems M&T department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing software tools that enable system designers to define and design our aircraft equipment. Within the System Methods & Tools team, you will be involved in the New Avionics program.

Your challenges

  • Organise steering board and formal gate reviews to get buy in front of the top management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for various business stakeholders to understand their Strong knowledge on system design.
  • Facilitate discussions and workshops to elicit detailed business requirements and use cases.
  • Conduct solution validation sessions with business stakeholders and end-users to ensure the proposed solution meets their needs and expectations.
  • Facilitate alignment and prioritization of features across different tool backlogs to support the overall solution delivery roadmap.
  • Monitor the progress of individual tool implementations and identify potential roadblocks or risks that could impact the overall end-to-end solution delivery.
  • Coordinate and participate in end-to-end testing activities with business users to validate the complete solution functionality and user experience.
  • Proactively identify and track blockers that may impede progress, working with relevant teams to resolve them in a timely manner.

Your boarding pass

  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience required.
  • Strong Project management experience in both agile and waterfall, certification or experience in hybrid frameworks is a plus. We are particularly interested in core PM competences such as cost, schedule, EVM, risk & opportunity, supplier management, lessons learnt & recommendations, structure, governance, execution with metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Very good stakeholder management, listening, negotiation, conflict management and communication skills.
  • Advanced level of English & French - German will be appreciated.
