System Methods and Tools - Experimented Epic Owner (f/m)

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a System Methods and Tools - Experimented Epic Owner (f/m) to join our Systems M&T department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing software tools that enable system designers to define and design our aircraft equipment. Within the System Methods & Tools team you will be involved in the New Avionics program.

Responsibilities

• Organise steering board and formal gate reviews to get buy‑in from top management.
• Act as the primary point of contact for various business stakeholders to understand their system design needs.
• Facilitate discussions and workshops to elicit detailed business requirements and use cases.
• Conduct solution validation sessions with business stakeholders and end‑users.
• Facilitate alignment and prioritisation of features across different tool backlogs.
• Monitor the progress of individual tool implementations and identify potential roadblocks or risks.
• Coordinate and participate in end‑to‑end testing activities with business users.
• Proactively identify and track blockers that may impede progress and work with relevant teams to resolve them.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience.
• Strong project management experience in both agile and waterfall; certification or experience in hybrid frameworks a plus.
• Core PM competencies: cost, schedule, EVM, risk & opportunity, supplier management, lessons learned, governance, execution with metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.
• Advanced level of English & French (German appreciated).
