System and Release Engineer SD-WAN/SASE (M/F)
Permanent contract – Paris IDF, France
Purpose
As part of a broader infrastructure modernization initiative, our client is seeking a System and Release Engineer SD-WAN/SASE to support the technological transition of its products towards private and public cloud environments.
Your overall mission will be to structure the integration, deployment, and software architecture of network solutions within the development department. Acting as a true technical authority, you will bring strong added value in terms of security, deployment standardization, and resolution of complex technical challenges.
Reporting Line
Reporting directly to the Technical Team Manager, you will work closely with product development teams and cloud experts to ensure the performance and reliability of the solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the definition and implementation of service-oriented software architectures
- Integrate applications for optimal deployment in cloud-based or on-premise environments
- Ensure strict compliance with security standards and modern authentication protocols
- Audit existing codebases and propose concrete architectural improvements
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Manage the containerization of Linux-based applications to ensure scalability and robustness
- Implement and maintain observability and telemetry tools to monitor system performance
- Provide high-level technical support to resolve integration-related incidents
- Challenge product development teams with assertiveness to elevate overall quality standards
- Support and advise developers in resolving technical bottlenecks
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to technical documentation and best practices
Profile
You hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent, Bac+5) in computer science or software engineering, and have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the development and integration of service-oriented web applications within international environments.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in software architecture design and service development
- Proficiency in Linux-based containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Solid experience in application integration and continuous deployment tools
- In-depth knowledge of modern authentication protocols and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP)
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
