Cloud Temple is offering you the opportunity to join its teams as a Work‑linked SysOps engineer to ensure the stability, security and efficiency of our infrastructures and systems.
Responsibilities
- Systems Operation and Maintenance
- Monitoring and resolving incidents on system infrastructures
- System updates, patches and configurations (OS, software, etc.)
- Analysis and troubleshooting
- Safety and Compliance
- Implementation and monitoring of system security policies
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Working with the security team on audits and vulnerability tests
- Automation and Industrialisation
- Development and deployment of scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.) to automate repetitive tasks
- Use of automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.) to standardise configurations
- Ability to use AI assistants to improve productivity and process efficiency
- Collaboration and Support
- Participation in Guilds: Working closely with the Cloud Practice & Automation and Security teams to ensure alignment with best practice in terms of infra as code and supervision.
- Ability to work 4-handed with junior profiles
- Participation in internal and customer projects
- Active participation in internal projects (process improvement, introduction of new technologies, etc.)
- Working with project teams to deploy customer solutions (cloud, infrastructure, security, etc.)
- Contributing to the definition of technical requirements and project planning
- Work in Agile mode to guarantee rapid, high‑quality project delivery
- Drafting Technical Documentation
- Drafting and updating technical documentation (DAT, DEX, etc.) for systems and processes
- Feeding the CMDB
- Working with teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of documentation
Beyond these tasks, we expect you to be proactive and to participate in the continuous improvement of your scope.
Skills Required
- From 3 years of higher education
- Technical environment covered during your apprenticeship:
- Operating Systems :
- Linux: Redhat, Ubuntu, CentOS
- Windows Server: 2022 or later
- Virtualisation: VMware, Hyper‑V
- Network & Security:
- Firewalls: Stormshield, FortiGate
- Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF
- Network concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Shell, Python
- Automation: Ansible, Terraform
- Public Cloud: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- Monitoring tools: Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana
- Operating Systems :
Expected Skills
- Expected experience: 0 to 2 years
- Autonomy: knowing how to look for/search for information/solutions
- Sense of quality and rigour: Demonstrate an ability to stand out for its accuracy, logic, precision, exceptional thoroughness.
- Organisational skills: knowing how to prioritise and reorganise in the event of developments/changes
- Ability to analyse and summarise: Identifying and analysing user requirements and choosing the appropriate solution
- Speed of execution: iterative & incremental delivery of solutions.
- Interpersonal skills: knowing how to work in a team & with users (CT employees and end customers)
- Ease of adapting to change: being able to accept change, having a culture of change as part of an empirical approach
