Our multicultural sustainable sourcing team is fully integrated within our global sourcing organization, partnering with all procurement domains, zones and divisions as well as the CSR team and other Operations métiers.

A Day in the Life

As the Sustainable Sourcing Manager – Raw Materials Upstream Supply Chain Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in embedding sustainability into the heart of our sourcing operations.

You will be based in Paris with occasional travel to our geographical zones.

Reporting to the Global Director of Sustainable Sourcing, you will lead a team of three project managers to drive a 360° transformation of our raw material supply chain approach to address social and environmental stakes, in line with methodologies defined by the sustainable procurement global network of excellence and in partnership with the relevant partners internally and externally.

You are the business partner of the Raw material Sourcing Domain heads, Corporate responsibility team and other internal experts (Legal, Ethics & Risks, R&I). You play a pivotal role to anticipate risks for a more inclusive and resilient supply chain and to develop the capabilities of our buyers and suppliers.

You Will

  • Define, activate and monitor transformation road map for raw materials to support our sustainable sourcing policy and our L4TF commitments.
  • Drive strategic field projects and due diligence, with domains and zones. Thrive for excellence and industrialize the methodology through comprehensive toolkits for our suppliers.
  • Report on key performance indicators, measure the effectiveness of implemented actions on both social and environmental dimensions and put in place measures to manage risks.
  • Perform regular benchmarks on best practices deployed by peer companies to integrate new factors, information and business needs to reassess and adapt road maps on priority sectors (e.g., worker voice, field projects).
  • Ensure the selection of the best partners, both global and local, in partnership with the internal experts’ guidance. Participate in coalitions when relevant.
  • Engage internal and external ecosystem, sharing data, facilitating knowledge transfer, empowering the sourcing community and the suppliers to take ownership of the developed solutions and ultimately integrate them back into their practices.
  • Incubate and nurture emerging supply chains from a sustainable sourcing perspective.

The perfect candidate will love problem‑solving on environmental and social topics, leverage collective intelligence across the organization and externally, demonstrate innovative thinking to create new solutions and bring clarity to complex situations to better address our L4TF ambitions.

We are seeking a results‑focused leader with a deep interest in sustainability applied to business. You are a strategic thinker who excels at bringing clarity to complex situations and leveraging collective intelligence to solve problems.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sourcing or sustainable field projects for raw materials.
  • Demonstrated experience managing international teams and leading complex transformation projects.
  • Proven experience in the cosmetics or fast‑moving consumer goods industry.
  • A solid understanding of supply chain traceability, human rights standards, and environmental challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead change.
  • An educational background in a relevant field such as Engineering, Chemistry, Sourcing, or Environmental Science.
  • Fluency in both English and French.
