Sustainable Insurance Apprenticeship

The Sustainable Insurance team is looking for an apprentice starting in September 2026.

The apprenticeship will take place within the Sustainable Insurance team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Study topics and methodologies related to sustainable development and sustainable underwriting, focusing on climate change and biodiversity.
• Analyze underwriting opportunities and risks, assessing impact and materiality on sustainability-related topics (GHG emissions, deforestation, freshwater, plastic, etc.).
• Develop extra-financial indicators and extra-financial reporting on underwriting portfolios in line with stakeholder expectations.
• Collect and use ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) data.
• Help spread ESG culture throughout the company and support underwriters to better integrate it.

Required Experience & Competencies

• Fluent in Excel and the Office package.
• Knowledge of Python is appreciated.
• Interest in sustainability, rigor, intellectual curiosity and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Previous professional experience in finance, insurance or sustainability is appreciated but not mandatory.

Required Education

Higher education in business, engineering or postgraduate studies, ideally with a specialization in finance, insurance or sustainability. An internship at the heart of a listed company's underwriting business would be beneficial.
