Surveyor

As a surveyor for our company in Clairvaux you will be responsible for conducting surveys and measurements of land and structures. Your main duties will include analyzing data, creating maps and layouts, and providing accurate reports. You should have experience in using surveying equipment and software as well as strong mathematical and analytical skills. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in surveying and be familiar with local land regulations. This is a full‑time position with a salary of $1100 per month. Accommodation will be provided for non‑local candidates if needed. We welcome both Kenyan nationals and foreigners with English proficiency to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys using various instruments such as GPS receivers, levels, theodolites.
• Analyze data from surveys to create accurate maps and layouts.
• Prepare detailed reports on land conditions and structures.
• Collaborate with other professionals such as engineers and architects on projects.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations regarding land use.
• Maintain surveying equipment and ensure its proper use.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in surveying.
• Knowledge of surveying equipment, software and techniques.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Familiarity with local land regulations.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills in English.
