Support Technician

• Provide telephone support for the software developed by the company
• Draft customer response letters
• Prepare technical and troubleshooting guides
• Prepare service and consulting reports
• Test new software versions
• Submit correction requests and enhancement requests
• Deliver professional services and consulting
• Report to the Technical Support Manager
• Provide technical assistance to SME customers using CANECO electrical calculation software

Requirements

• Two-year post-secondary degree (Bac+2) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, or higher
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering design office
• Experience using CANECO software products
• Sufficient electrical knowledge to read electrical schematics
• Proficiency with computer tools
• Technical English proficiency
• Knowledge of See Electrical Expert and/or CANECO BT is a plus
• Knowledge of the NFC 15-100 standard is a plus
• Successfully complete a comprehensive background check before starting employment
• Provide proof of education, employment verification, proof of work authorization, identity verification, and, where required by local law, additional checks that may include a criminal record check and credit check
