Siemens EDA's Solido Custom IC Support team is seeking a Support Application Engineer to help customers use the Solido Simulation Suite and Solido Design Environment within their design and verification flows. In this customer-facing role, you'll help customers set up and run the tools, answer their technical questions, reproduce and resolve issues, and deliver training so their teams can work productively.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in integrating and utilizing Siemens EDA Custom IC Verification tools (Solido SPICE, Solido Design Environment, Symphony, etc.) into their circuit design and verification flows.
- Deliver technical presentations, conduct product demonstrations, and execute benchmark evaluations to drive product adoption and business revenue.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues on customer designs, often collaborating directly with Siemens EDA R&D.
- Develop technical content, training collateral, and self-solving materials for the Siemens EDA knowledge base.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (e.g. Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics) and 3+ years of experience in applications/support engineering, transistor-level circuit design, or verification
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics, analog/mixed-signal circuits, SPICE models, Circuit Simulation, Full Custom IC Design and Verification.
- Hands-on experience with SPICE circuit simulators, familiarity with Solido Simulation Suite and Solido Design Environment or similar tools is a plus
- Comfortable working in Linux with some scripting in Python, TCL, or bash
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Some travel is required.

Our Benefits & Rewards
The salary range for this position is 45,800 EUR to 78,000 EUR and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
