Responsibilities
- Define and lead enterprise-wide supply chain strategy across GE Vernova businesses, translating First Order Principles into actionable decisions on Make vs Buy, footprint, and automation.
- Identify and unlock structural value opportunities (cost, growth, resilience, margin expansion).
- Influence CEO/ELT-level decisions with data-backed, system-level insights.
- Partner with GEV Supply Chain Strategy Leader on cross-functional initiatives and collaborate across the GE Vernova Supply Chain to deploy the Supply Chain strategy framework.
- Develop financial models (including sensitivity analysis) and capacity planning to guide strategic decision-making.
- Partner with GE Vernova Business Development team on supply chain strategy to support business line vision and goals.
- Build and present business cases to inform business supply chain decision making, highlighting trade-offs such as SIOP, capex, capacity, risk, efficiency, resiliency, flow, and sustainability by applying system optimization thinking.
- Deploy standard work for Voice of Customer, including Market Opportunities, Key Technologies & Capabilities as differentiators, and footprint aligned with global demand.
- Project manage, as needed, to support business-level strategic projects and NGSC development.
- Create standard capability matrix that can be adopted across Global Supply Chain.
- Develop and lead the process for identifying strategic sites for growth potential, capital allocation needs and financial benefits to GEV.
- Collaborate with the GE Vernova Corporate Strategy Team to ensure key market trends and insights are captured and incorporated into the Voice of Customer process.
- Create and improve the standard work and strategy framework of the supply chain development team through data collection and analysis with a closed feedback loop with cross-functional business teams.
- Champion and integrate GE Vernova values and Sustainability Framework into GEV Supply Chain Development standard practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or Business
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant Supply Chain, Finance, Lean, or Sourcing experience
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and working with and presenting to global stakeholders at senior level
- Willingness and ability to travel up to ~50% of the time
- Excellent communication (oral/written) experience, working and influencing cross-culturally in large, matrixed organizations
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills
- Strong quantitative and data analysis skills
- Transformational change leader who excels in change management
- Strategic thinking with the ability to balance thought leadership, continuous learning, and improvement with demonstrated results
