Supply Chain Project Manager

Location: Aimargues, France – near Montpellier (Occitanie region). Segment: Royal Canin. Type of contract: Permanent. In this role as Product and Process Implementation Engineer you will serve as a Change Coordinator to efficiently deliver the circular pack transition at site level, helping the company achieve sustainable and circular packs common for all sites within France and with a transition vision for European markets. You will manage day‑to‑day mission based on pack sustainability, acting as a catalyst for change, initiating and driving workstreams to optimize cost‑to‑serve for customers and support Mars to become a more efficient, agile and lean company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economics
• 3+ years of experience in Production or Supply Chain roles
• Knowledge of internal manufacturing and major business processes, FMCG beneficial
• Experience as Supply Chain Planner
• Significant change management experience
• Understanding of improvement tools such as SIXSIGMA, Kaizen, 5S
• Ability to work cross functionally with Senior Leaders and stakeholders
• Track record in leading step‑change initiatives / Best practice roll out
• Eager to analyze and inspired by maximizing value
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Lead and support trials and technical improvement modifications according to the regional plan, aligning with factory production plan.
• Create local project dashboards: define KPIs, set targets, and provide periodic updates and analysis.
• Build action plans according to KPI deviations and measure action efficiency.
• Support QFS team in answering customer complaints related to circular pack.
• Animate Master data validation workflow at factory level.
• Ensure Master Data updates on demand planning, MPS, and matrice file.
• Manage planning: build, communicate, revise plans, and assess impacts.
• Perform risk assessments and facilitate decision making or escalation.
• Ensure compliance with rules and switch strategy.
• Improve current pack waste disposal and define the road to circularity.
• Organize pack waste collection on the shop floor.
• Manage disposal of finished goods and leftover packaging material according to company rules.
• Build a strong communication plan to align with stakeholders.
