Supply Chain Material Flow Manager (H/F)
Job Description
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Supply Chain Material Flow Manager to join our Saint Eloi Supply Chain Operations Team based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team responsible for managing supplier relationships and the procurement of materials and elementary parts for Saint‑Eloi Plant. The role involves orchestrating a €20M portfolio of raw materials and parts and serving as the referent for our "Free Issue Process," ensuring our international suppliers have exactly what they need, when they need it, to keep Airbus flying high.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Subcontracting Budget: drive and optimise a €400k/year budget supporting operations, performance, and planning management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international suppliers, resolving operational headwinds.
- Secure a reliable demand cascade, manage inventories at Airbus vendor facilities, and conduct deep‑dive root‑cause investigations when gaps arise.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (process optimisation, action plans, stock reductions, KPI implementation, survey) and free‑issue implementation or eradication.
- Serve as the go‑to business expert for the entire PIOY organisation, onboarding newcomers, hosting awareness sessions, and providing top‑tier technical support.
- Promote free‑issue activities to internal stakeholders (Procurement, SCQM, Finance, Process owners, SO, ARP team) on operational and strategic topics.
Qualifications
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Serious, motivated, organised, responsive, autonomous, and dynamic, with a strong sense of teamwork.
- Leadership and assertiveness to influence and challenge the status quo.
- Ability to build and develop professional relationships with team members, subcontractors, peers, and stakeholders.
- Customer‑oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with IT and office tools, particularly the Google Suite.
- Previous experience working with an ERP system (SAP).
