As a Nuclear Supplier Quality Engineer , you will ensure the compliance, safety, and performance of suppliers involved in the manufacture of critical components for nuclear applications .
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Assessing, qualifying, and monitoring suppliers in line with nuclear requirements (RCC‑M, ESPN, ISO 19443, ASME III).
- Verifying compliance of materials, processes, and inspections (CMTR/3.1, NDT, ITP, hold/witness points) and tracking corrective actions.
- Reviewing and approving metallurgical documentation, including chemical analyses, mechanical properties, toughness, hardness, corrosion, and validating welding procedures and welder/operator qualifications (WPS/PQR).
- Promoting a strong safety culture, documentation rigor, and regulatory compliance among suppliers and internal stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you will need to:
- Hold an engineering degree (metallurgy, mechanical, materials, or quality) with proven experience in supplier quality or nuclear quality assurance.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of nuclear codes and standards: RCC‑M, ESPN, ISO 19443, ASME III, ISO 9001.
- Possess solid metallurgical expertise (carbon steels, stainless steels, special alloys) and special processes (welding, casting, forging, heat treatment).
- Be fluent in English and willing to travel up to 50% .
