Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

Overview

L‑Acoustics is a world leader in premium professional sound systems for live events. The company designs, manufactures, and distributes high‑quality audio technologies with a focus on reliability and innovation. We are seeking a bright SQA Engineer to join the Quality team within the Industry department to strengthen supplier quality processes across the group.

Responsibilities

• Support plant quality teams to develop global suppliers and manage supplier performance, including initial validation of new or modified components (PPAP) and implementation of corrective actions (8D, root cause analysis, and CAPA).
• Collaborate with the SRM team to develop supplier strategy, integrate new strategic suppliers, participate in supplier selection, and lead initial qualification through dedicated supplier audits.
• Participate in supplier review meetings with Purchasing and operational teams to monitor and improve supplier performance.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing structured quality improvement plans (risk analysis, monitoring plans, awareness sessions) in collaboration with suppliers to strengthen overall performance.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, surveillance audits of main suppliers, and traceability audits.
• Manage autonomously the quality performance of a commodity and train/develop the supplier panel to improve their quality systems and reduce recurrent issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a supplier quality role.
• Proficiency in quality management concepts, tools, and methods (control plan, PPAP, supplier audits).
• Attention to detail with a commitment to technical excellence.
• Strong organizational, self-directed, and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and strong persuasion abilities.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in French and English.
