Primary Duties

• Lead the European Field Service Engineering team (8–10 direct reports) and oversee employee development, including training.
• Ensure optimal team composition and monitor work quality and quantity of Field Service Engineers.
• Create maintenance planning to fulfill contractual agreements.
• Promote a customer‑oriented attitude and ambassadorial role for the Field Service Engineers.
• Manage the P&L of the European Service team and translate long‑term plans into operational actions.
• Initiate improvement processes and take measurement actions to resolve quality, response time, and maintenance issues.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance comply with defined standards and working methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical studies.
• 5–10 years of experience in Field Service Engineering.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with international customers and preferably team leadership.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Dutch and additional languages are a plus.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport for international travel and fieldwork.

Work Requirements

• Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
• International travel and fieldwork may be required; valid passport necessary.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country of hire.
