The Training Supervisor will provide system and content-based education, analysis, reporting, and hospital expertise to support all facility PFS roles and departments. You will also be responsible for developing, designing, administering, and managing training materials included in the training delivery related to operational function. You will be accountable for operations-specific training related to patient access, hospital, and professional billing processes, insurance follow-up, payment posting, and cash drawer management. The Training Supervisor will analyze training effectiveness and implement changes to improve efficiency. The Training Supervisor will also lead, mentor, and coach the revenue cycle training team, ensuring processes are performed efficiently and accurately.Major Job FunctionsThe following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job. Maintain a solid working knowledge of revenue cycle industry standards and best practices.
Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing feedback to ensure quality to meet quality standards.
Create and manage curriculum and competency assessments and skill checklists for all revenue cycle functions.
Provide training and support to staff on revenue cycle software and applications.
Coordinates and delivers practical training to new and current employees.
Develops and maintains schedules and records for ongoing employee education.
Adapts teaching methods and delivery mechanisms to optimize learning outcomes.
Establishes testing and evaluation procedures to measure progress and effectiveness of training.
Designs and develops training materials and audiovisual aids for use by training team members.
Manage Workday enrollments and content to monitor, track and report training outcomes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide recommendations to management.
Provide support to staff in resolving any issues related to revenue cycle processes.
Design and update content on the department intranet page.
Collaborates with the Epic application teams for project planning and execution, curriculum development, including at-the-elbow support.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance standards for the revenue cycle departments.
Provide input into employee performance management process.
Maintains compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and procedures.

The following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job:
Education and Formal Training:High school graduate or equivalent required
Associate Degree preferred
EPIC certification preferred
4 years of Revenue Cycle experience in healthcare system required
2 years of experience supporting hospital and professional billing, payment posting, credit balance, scheduling, pre-registration, and registration required
Experience delivering training, facilitating meetings, or public speaking required
Epic experience is required
Demonstrated expertise in revenue cycle operations, including patient access, billing, collections processes, claim denial management, and patient accounting systems.
Strong leadership skills and experience developing and delivering training programs to new and experienced staff in revenue cycle management.
Highly organized with strong project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across various stakeholders and departments.
Excellent people skills, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong knowledge of compliance needs related to HIPAA privacy rules, CMS claim submission rules, TJC, and other standard regulatory guidelines for hospital billing.
Ability to identify the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge skills.
Comfort delivering presentations to multiple levels of employees and leadership.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, Including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
Regularly required to talk or hear.
Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms
