Starting at $51,000 – $56,000 contingent upon experience, education, etc.

Division Overview

The Adult Criminal Justice and Treatment Services (ACJS) supports clients who may have struggles related to a substance use disorder. ACJS provides opportunities for clients to rebuild their lives so they can become healthy and self-sufficient. ACJS’ work includes screening and assessments for substance use disorders, placing clients into treatment programs, monitoring and reporting on progress, and providing support including, but not limited to insurance enrollment, obtaining a state ID, and finding employment resources.

Summary

The Supervisor will provide overall leadership of assigned programs including program management, clinical supervision, personnel, and day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include information systems, office management, ensuring clients receive evidence-based care, and assisting in the development and implementation of policies and strategic goals. The Supervisor will supervise a team of Case Management and Office Support staff and manage multiple programs across a large geographical region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct, plan, and coordinate the work of staff, including supervision, evaluation, training, and team building.
  • Supervise day-to-day activities of program management and office staff.
  • Establish work schedules for staff and provide coverage when necessary.
  • Provide direct service to clients as needed.
  • Coordinate and implement delivery of consistent, quality program services.
  • Assist with program budget and contract deliverables.
  • Maintain program information and technology to increase effectiveness and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare, interpret, and present reports to the Administrator, external funding sources, and community partners.
  • Serve as liaison to the Administrator for program-related needs and operational issues.
  • Provide guidance and support in resolving crisis situations with clients.
  • Participate in agency-wide work groups as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or related field.
  • Master’s degree may be required based on contractual obligations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in the human services field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of management experience.
  • CADC certification within two years of employment may be required.
  • Considerable knowledge of ASAM criteria, DSM‑V, and code of ethics for substance abuse professionals, or ability to acquire knowledge.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care models.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a professional team.

Work Schedule

Hybrid work schedule: required to report to site three days per week, with the option to work up to two days remotely.
