Metric Geo is confidentially partnered with a reputable contractor to identify an experienced Superintendent to join its team in Indianapolis. The search is focused on hands-on field leaders with a strong background in earthwork, underground utilities, and paving, ideally with experience delivering INDOT highway and roadway and other large scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations across heavy civil projects.
• Manage crews, foremen, subcontractors, and equipment on site.
• Coordinate earthwork, underground utility installation, and paving activities.
• Ensure projects meet schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Work closely with Project Managers to drive productivity and control costs.
• Monitor materials, resources, and site progress to keep projects on track.

Ideal Background

• Superintendent experience within heavy civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, underground utilities, and paving.
• Previous experience on INDOT or DOT highway and roadway projects.
• Proven ability to lead field teams and deliver projects safely and efficiently.
